    Here in Scandinavia, where we hardly ever see the sun for many winter months people have started investing in solar panels that work through the summer months. But windpower, which works throughout the year is almost non-existent except large installations in Denmark. Here in Finland also government initiatives followed the initial surge from individual pioneers.

Yes. But like most commercial renewable energy solutions, the current price tag is way too high for the average household to use the energy ball.
